2018, The Edge Martial Arts Coupon

One of the first projects I took on at IntersectLA was a holiday coupon design for The Edge Martial Arts, a loyal client of the agency. They requested a holiday/winter-themed character in martial arts uniform to be on the front side of the coupon.

Reflection

The holiday coupon shown on this page is not the version that went into production. Because it was one of my first design projects, the details of the design was weak. After having the design looked at by a professional, I revised my type's kerning, typeface family, and color. Even after revising it, I believe the design could be stronger. Lastly, if I were to take on a project similar to this again, I would pitch a design with a penguin or a snowman to be more holiday-inclusive.
